SCHENK EEN OBJECT … een oproep voor iedereen …

* VOOR WIE? Iedereen mag meedoen: KUNSTENAARS EN NIET-KUNSTENAARS

* HOE? Iedereen mag meedoen door een object binnen te brengen in ART GHENT tussen 26 en 29 augustus. Na ontvangst wordt jouw object asap verwerkt in een kunstwerk door ART GHENT en ter plek verkocht aan de bezoekers. Bij elke aankoop gaat 50% naar jou en 50% naar ART GHENT… Naast verkoop, zijn ook ruilovereenkomsten mogelijk… uiteraard, met jou te bespreken.

Kunstenaars kunnen steeds hun werk schenken en de winst op de verkoop integraal overlaten aan ART GHENT. Op die manier bouwt ART GHENT een reserve uit waarmee zij haar activiteiten kan verder zetten en de total performance bijkomend vorm geven.

OVER ART GHENT (a total performance by Ben Benaouisse)

ART GHENT is een winkel voor kunstenaars die curator-kunstenaar Ben Benaouisse begin 2021 opstartte in een leegstaand interim kantoor aan de Brabantdam te Gent. Tijdens de maanden van april en mei resideerde hij met dit veelzijdige beeldende-kunst-project in SMAK Gent en Cultuurcentrum De Ververij Ronse. Als curator-kunstenaar wil Ben Benaouisse op basis van zijn eigen ervaring projecten ontwikkelen binnen verschillende beeldende disciplines voor een breed publiek. Economie en Nieuwe Poëzie zijn de twee « mobiele pilaren » waar ART GHENT op steunt. Haar missie is veelzijdig met zowel commerciëel als niet-commercieel elan: het organiseren van tentoonstellingen, een plek betekenen ter ondersteuning van kunstenaars, het verkopen van kunstwerken, het ontwikkelen van artistieke projecten… Door deze transversale aanpak kunnen kunstenaars zich aansluiten naargelang hun noden en vragen.
