Ghent Art Book Fair

Na de succesvolle edities van de GHENT ART BOOK FAIR van 2015 tot 2018 in 019 in de Gentse haven, verhuist de de editie van 2019 naar een nieuwe locatie. 019 en APE-art & books (voorheen RIOT) presenteren met trots de 5de editie van de GHENT ART BOOK FAIR op 11 en 12 mei in (en in samenwerking met) Kunsthal Gent.

GABF 19 toont hedendaagse kunstboeken van meer dan 60 (inter)nationale onafhankelijke uitgevers en brengt een nieuw uitgebreid programma naast boekpresentaties en signeersessies. Interessante nevenprogramma’s zijn onder meer lezingen door internationale uitgevers en ontwerpers, performances door kunstenaars, workshops en tentoonstellingen. Allemaal gepresenteerd in de gloednieuwe Kunsthal Gent, gelegen in het centrum van Gent.

In hetzelfde weekend vindt op dezelfde locatie ook Zine Happening V* van Les VoiZines plaats.

* De twee festivals werken samen en delen de ruimte, maar zijn nog steeds gescheiden in hun programmering en tafels (een symbiotische relatie, zoals de natuur die graag heeft).
