LES VOIZINES PRESENT: ZINE HAPPENING VII

Small press, self-publishing en zine festival Zine Happening is terug in Kunsthal Gent. Zine Happening is meer dan alleen een boekenmarkt. Het is sinds 2015 een plek waar een gemeenschap wordt gecreëerd, kunstenaars van alle niveaus kunnen netwerken, plezier hebben en van elkaar kunnen leren.

Dit jaar tonen zowel internationale als lokale kunstenaars en zinemakers hun creaties in de grote zaalkerk. Het Tsjechische collectief FŮD toont het beste van sociaal geëngageerde Tsjechische illustraties in een tentoonstelling getiteld "Pencil Tip" in het Oud Huis. De studenten van LUCA School of Arts tonen hun werk in een groepstentoonstelling. Ook de reizende boekenplank en de zines, gemaakt in de workshops Zine Lab van De Krook, zijn te zien.

Op zaterdagavond is er een indie-stripprijsuitreiking voor het beste kortverhaal: De Plastieken Plunk, uitgereikt door een vakjury en georganiseerd door Pulp De Luxe.

Doe mee aan spannende gratis workshops of luister naar inspirerende artist talks, laat je tatoeëren of neem een ​​unieke print mee naar huis, win een kunstwerk op de tombola of woon een glamoureuze prijsuitreiking bij: er is voor elk wat wils bij Zine Happening VII. En als je er geen genoeg van kan krijgen, tot volgend weekend op de Ghent Art Book Fair!
