NIE PLEUJE VOOR HAAT EN RACISME!

Op donderdag 1 december komt Filip Dewinter op uitnodiging van de KVHV een lezing geven aan de UGent over de omvolkingstheorie. Deze theorie is geen mening maar een racistische samenzweringstheorie die mee aan de basis lag van de holocaust. Dewinter propageert een theorie van witte supremacisten die beweert dat het eigen volk met haar cultuur ten onder dreigt te gaan en wordt vervangen door immigranten. Dit is een oproep tot haat, ontmenselijking en geweld en hoort niet thuis in een democratische samenleving.

Met een breed platform van studenten, docenten van de UGent en vertegenwoordigers van het Gentse maatschappelijke middenveld verzetten we ons tegen de normalisering van extreemrechts en waarschuwen we voor de gevaren van de omvolkingstheorie. 0p donderdag 1 december, de avond van de lezing, organiseren we een mars door de studentenbuurt van Gent. Aansluitend organiseren we met artiesten en sprekers het slotevent ’Nie pleuje voor haat en racisme’. Welkom!
