KONT magazine presenteert:
Staying with The Tides

KONT, het jaarlijkse magazine en tevens nomadisch, artistiek vehikel dat opgericht is door de Belgische kunstenaar Griet Menschaert in Eindhoven, toont de documentaire 'Staying with The Tides / In de getijden blijven' in Kunsthal Gent. De titel van de documentaire verwijst naar Donna Haraway's fameuze boek 'Staying With The Trouble'.

De getijden zijn vloeibaar en KONT ook. In 2021 bestaat KONT vijf jaar. Met deze documentaire wil KONT markeren wat de beweging rond het magazine al die tijd heeft proberen te doen. KONT vraagt zich tegelijk openlijk af hoe verder te gaan vanaf dit punt. Daarom vindt er na de documentaire een gesprek plaats over wat KONT is, was en kan worden, samen met het publiek.

De documentaire is een realisatie van filmmaker, designer en muzikant Floor Hofman. Griet Menschaert en Floor Hofman zijn beiden aanwezig.
