Hosts: Jesse Jones en Sara O’Rourke

Kunsthal Gent verwelkomt Jesse Jones en Sara O’Rourke in residentie. Tijdens hun verblijf nemen Jones en O’Rourke Het Oud Huis in om te onderzoeken hoe dit project verder kan evolueren in een post-pandemische toekomst.

Dit onderzoeksmatig proces begint op 14 juli 2022 met een Open Studio in Kunsthal Gent. We nodigen het publiek en de Syllabus leesgroepen uit om mee te doen en denken in een workshop rond de figuur van de Sheela na Gig. De workshop heeft tot doel de zintuiglijke ervaring en de fysieke ruimte terug te winnen, door middel van spel en experiment met objecten en door middel van maakprocessen.
