Slotweekend — Zomersalon: Buy Local 3

We naderen stilaan het einde van ‘Zomersalon: Buy Local 3’. Tijdens het weekend van 2 en 3 september wordt de tentoonstelling feestelijk afgesloten met een finissage. Meteen ook de laatste kans om Zomersalon te bezoeken én een werk in huis te halen!

Tijdens Zomersalon: Buy Local 3 worden de werken van 650 Gentse kunstenaars getoond én verkocht aan een breed publiek. Met deze omvangrijke tentoonstelling presenteert Kunsthal Gent een grote diversiteit aan werken, waardoor er een brede kijk op de huidige beeldende kunstscene in onze stad ontstaat.

In tegenstelling tot de gangbare tentoonstellingen binnen Kunsthal Gent, nemen we voor Zomersalon: Buy Local 3 de radicale, maar weloverwogen beslissing dat iedere Gentse kunstenaar kan deelnemen. Het publiek kan zich dus onderdompelen in de volle breedte van de Gentse beeldende kunstwereld en in contact komen met de kunstenaars achter de werken. Gentse organisaties worden uitgenodigd om als partner het Zomersalon mee te ondersteunen én vorm te geven. Op die manier creëren we een kader dat ontmoetingen mogelijk maakt tussen kunstenaars, kunstorganisaties, het publiek en potentiële kopers.

We heten je van harte welkom op Zomersalon: Buy Local 3, van 14 juli tot 3 september in Kunsthal Gent.
