With Tijs Vastesaeger, Anja Hellebaut + Willem Boel

Pay what you can

Free seminar:
Hoe praat je over je werk?

As part of Zomersalon 2023: BUY LOCAL#3, we are once again organising the Artist Talks on the Spot - artists participating in Zomersalon can choose to explain their work to the public in an informal artist talk. Because not everyone is comfortable speaks easily about their own practice, we organise the seminar "How do you talk about your work?” on Thursday, 6 July, in Kunsthal Gent.

Three speakers, Anja Hellebaut (Mentor), Tijs Vastesaeger (Cultuurloket) and artist Willem Boel, will share tips, tricks, insights and points of attention from their own experiences and different practices, that can help you to speak about your own work even more fluently and specifically to an audience. After their presentations, there will be time for you to ask questions.

If you haven't yet decided whether you want to participate in the Artist Talks on the Spot, that's no problem. You can also come to the seminar to listen and then decide if you want to participate (information on registering for the Artist Talks On The Spot will follow soon).

Location: Kunsthal Gent, Lange Steenstraat 14
Doors: 18.00
Start: 19.00
End: 21.00, welcome to stay on in the bar afterwards
Participation: free, language: Dutch
