Gandante presenteert:
Karmelieten, het Oud Huis en de Drongenhofkapel

Rondleiding: Bezoek het kunstproject in de Drongenhofkapel in combinatie met een bezoek aan het Oud Huis in Kunsthal Gent. Op zondag 12 september 2021 om 10u00. Startplaats: Drongenhof 15 (Patershol) te Gent met gids Maggy Van Herreweghe.

We bezoeken de prachtige Drongenhofkapel in het Patershol, daar ontdekt u drie hedendaagse kunstwerken van Berlinde De Bruyckere, Dirk Braeckman en Wim Delvoye en de geschiedenis van de prachtige kapel.

Maar dit is niet alles. In het tweede uurtje van de rondleiding verplaatsen we ons naar het OUDE HUIS in Kunsthal Gent (voormalige Caermersklooster) waar u meer informatie krijgt in een videoproject van Eredeken Roger Van Bockstaele over de locatie.

In Kunsthal Gent ontmoeten verschillende artistieke spelers en disciplines in de kunsten elkaar. Tijdens de rondleiding gaat onze gids dieper in op de vruchtbare artistieke bodem die het pand heeft in haar huidige invulling heeft. Maar vertelt ze ook over de geschiedenis van het veertiende-eeuwse Karmelietenklooster.

Op 12 september is de zaalkerk van Kunsthal Gent niet toegankelijk wegens opbouwwerken, maar onze gids kan wel het project van Eredeken Roger Van Bockstaele en het Oud Huis toelichten.
