GEEN ZOMERSALON IN 2022

Na twee succesvolle edities slaan we in 2022 een jaartje over en zal er geen Zomersalon doorgaan. Het concept was een respons op de coronacrisis en de moeilijke situatie die dat voor veel kunstenaars teweegbracht. We werken een concept uit voor een vernieuwde editie in 2023. Op vrijdag 2 juli om 20.00 uur gaat Zomersalon 2021: BUY LOCAL #2 officieel open. 742 kunstwerken vullen Kunsthal Gent tot de nok met een doorsnede van de levendige Gentse beeldende kunstscene.

Met deelnemers van 18 tot 84 jaar brengt BUY LOCAL generaties Gentse kunstenaars samen in een tentoonstelling met één grote gemene deler: alles is te koop.

Vanaf vrijdag 2 juli om 20.00 uur zijn de werken te zien in Kunsthal Gent én online op zomersalon.gent, waar geïnteresseerde kopers in contact kunnen komen met de kunstenaars.

Openingsuren:
Juli:
zaterdag en zondag 11.00 - 18.00.
Augustus: donderdag t.e.m. zondag 11.00 - 18.00.

Events:
- Elke zondag van Zomersalon: Artist talks on the spot.

- Gents kunstenaar Lore Snauwaert bouwt met 7 kunstenaars en gasten een Restaurant in Kunsthal Gent! Vanaf augustus kan je er dineren. Meer info en reserveren.

- Vanaf augustus: performanceprogramma op zondag

- Veel events door Gentse partnerorganisaties: workshops, rondleidingen, screenings, ...

- Copyright Gent (Jakobijnenstraat 8, B – 9000 Gent) organiseert een "Zomerboekensalon" met publicaties van deelnemers aan Zomersalon.
