Volunteers
The volunteer group of Kunsthal Gent forms an important layer around our operations and the small permanent team of interns and students. We are therefore very grateful for the many volunteers, their enthusiasm, and the help they currently offer in support of our operations. We can always use extra help to keep Kunsthal Gent open during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 to 18:00).

Vacancy
For the summer months (June — August 2026), we are looking for volunteers / students who are available on weekends (from 11:00 to 18:00) and — importantly — can play tennis. This is for a new exhibition in which a tennis court is central. The artist is looking for someone who wants to help ‘activate’ the court and interact with visitors by playing, thus becoming part of the work.
What we expect:
- You are often available during weekends and the summer months
- You can play tennis
- You are willing to interact with visitors
