This performance is the result of Sana Ghobbeh’s research project “Sugar Cubes,” an exploration of the historical industrial ties between Belgium and Iran in the sugar industry.
N.B.: This performance takes place at the location of Ghent’s only former sugar factory, sucrerie Mechelynck, once located on Wiedauwkaai, now the lending office of the City of Ghent’s Festivities Department.
