After two successful editions we're taking a break: in 2022 there will be no Summer Salon. The concept was a response to the corona crisis and the difficult situation this created for many artists. We are working out a concept for a renewed edition in 2023. To stay up to date, please register for the newsletter at www.kunsthal.gent!
Team Kunsthal Gent
Kunsthal Gent presents a second edition of its Summer Salon, after a successful premiere with 590 Ghent artists in 2020.
In July and August 2021, BUY LOCAL#2 brings together the work of 742 Ghent artists, both in Kunsthal Gent and online. Support an artist and buy a work at this major exhibition with a cross-section of Ghent's visual arts scene. Once again, the entire proceeds will go to the artists.
In addition to two-dimensional work, this year you can also see and buy sculptures and installations, performance, audio and video work.
From 2 July to 29 August 2021
Opening: Friday 2 July, from 20.00 onwards
Opening hours in July: every Saturday and Sunday, 11.00 - 18.00
Opening hours in August: every Thursday to Sunday, 11.00 - 18.00
Partners and artists present a special events and performance programme - more info here!
