GEEN ZOMERSALON IN 2022

Na twee succesvolle edities slaan we in 2022 een jaartje over en zal er geen Zomersalon doorgaan. Het concept was een respons op de coronacrisis en de moeilijke situatie die dat voor veel kunstenaars teweegbracht. We werken een concept uit voor een vernieuwde editie in 2023. Kunsthal Gent presenteert een tweede editie van het Zomersalon, na een geslaagde première met 590 Gentse kunstenaars in 2020.

BUY LOCAL#2 brengt in juli en augustus 2021 werk van 742 Gentenaars bijeen, in Kunsthal Gent én online. Steun een kunstenaar en koop een werk op deze grote tentoonstelling met een dwarsdoorsnede van de Gentse beeldende kunstscene. De opbrengst gaat opnieuw integraal naar de kunstenaars.

Naast tweedimensionaal werk zijn er dit jaar ook sculpturen en installaties, performance, audio- en videowerk te zien én te koop.

  • Opening: vrijdag 2 juli, vanaf 20.00

  • Openingstijden in juli: elke zaterdag en zondag, 11.00 - 18.00 uur

  • Openingstijden in augustus: open van donderdag t/m zondag, 11.00 18.00 uur
